Because the world’s a stage and the Revolutionaries are born actresses!
In 2013 the Revolutionaries wrote, directed and performed our first play as part of a fundraiser
for sex workersʼ children. The play was such a hit, we were invited to perform in 50 different
venues. Our second play, Lal Batti Express, has been performed all over the U.S., India, and
U.K. for hundreds of thousands of people! We continue to use theatre to bring the stories of sex
workersʼ daily lives to mainstream audiences, and we use street theatre to bring change to our
communities.
