Danish - Discovery

I spent almost seven years living in a shelter home where I was locked up and not allowed to go out. When I came to Kranti they told me I had to travel alone to school, and I got lost at the train station on my first day! Now, in the past three years, I've gone to leadership camp in the US, studied abroad in Israel, and interned with a LGBT organization in Thailand. For the last year, I’ve been studying psychology in the US, and I hope to become a psychologist one day. I will never forget my days getting lost at the train station, but now, I consider myself successful because I’ve learned to travel and every day, I learn from new places, people, and situations...because every external journey is also an internal journey!
