Rani,Shraddha and Sumaiya are in LA attending Global Girl Project working building social projects. Last week, Joanne who is a gardener at a church hosted Pizza party. PIZZA was good enough to excite them for the whole day, but the most exciting part was making it themselves :D. It is one of Krantikaris favorite food. They seem to be enjoying the process of making, eating and sharing the pizza :). Here’s how our “crazy for pizza” Rani felt:
“Pizzaaaa!!! one of my favorite food. I always enjoyed eating pizza but this time I made pizza by myself. really had a great experience. After being done with making pizza I was proudly saying to everyone that they should try MY PIZZA :D”
Tomorrow on the 19th Feb our most favorite Bani Di will be speaking about her journey of starting Kranti at Good Graffiti Fest 2017 organized by Karmyo. It will be held at Urban Haat, Belapur, Navi Mumbai, if you are around and are looking for some inspiration on a Sunday evening come catch Bani Das inspire the crowd :).
Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of hosting the new batch of Teach For India fellows. Since last four years TFI has persistently visited Kranti to learn about our work. This year Krantikaris facilitated an activity on human trafficking and led discussions around sex-work in India with the fellows. Here are some photos of Puch (our cat) showing them videos on Kranti work ;).
Hello!! My name is Shraddha and right now I'm in LA for Global Girl Project. Last year I learned lots of things but the most important thing that I learned was to be grateful for whatever you have and enjoy every moment of your life and spread Happiness. I'm grateful that I have opportunities to travel and learn different things. In 2017, I want to give more time for my art and try to meditate :).
Hello!! My name is Danish and right now I am planning to go Thailand to volunteer with an NGO working for LGBTQ rights and will also take English intensive course in Thailand. In 2016 I have learned to trust people. While I was traveling in Israel for 3 month I was bit nervous to ask people for help but overall, I got many wonderful people during my trip to Israel and this how I started to trust people. In 2016, I am most grateful for Maura Aunty for taking care of me when I was Israel as well as Karen Aunty for opening her house for me to stay.
