become a mentor
At Kranti, we believe that didis are like chocolates - you can never have too many of them!
By pairing the Revolutionaries with a "big sister" in Mumbai, we provide each Revolutionary with the opportunity to build a positive and powerful relationship with a friend, mentor, and role model. Through their didis, the Revolutionaries are able to have one-on-one attention as they learn and explore their world outside the Kranti home.
If you are a Mumbaikar and are seeking a way to make a difference, take part in the best volunteer program in Mumbai! Email us at kranti-mumbai@gmail.com.

Hear from current Big Sisters!
· Vatsala: After choosing a non-traditionally “female career” against the
wishes of my family and friends, I hope to inspire Chahat to
wholeheartedly pursue her passions in life. I love teaching all of the
Revolutionaries about photography, but I particularly want to help
Chahat with her dream of making a film about the lives of young sex
workers. I also hope that my time with Chahat will help her realize
that she is capable of achieving absolutely anything.
· Paroj: I am currently studying at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences
in Mumbai, where I am researching global environmental and habitat issues.
I am interested in educating the Revolutionaries about these issues,
and I believe that as a student, I will influence them to passionately
pursue their studies. I hope that the time I spend as Sheetal’s Big
Sister will help her set ambitious goals for herself and develop the
confidence to achieve those goals.
